We were learning about fixing code on scratch. I found it easy to make the person. I found it hard to share it to my blog. I really enjoyed making the person. Next time I need to not stress out. (This was made on october 29th 2019, I was still learning about blogger, just thought I would re-upload it!)

12 Days Of Kiwi Christmas.

We were learning about kiwi things we use, and do for christmas. This may include jandals, pavlova, barbeques and lots more.

I found it hard to agree with what we would include with our 12 things for christmas. 

I found it easy to find the perfect images from the explore tool to put on my slides.

Next time I will not argue with my group about our backgrounds.

What Does Christmas Mean To Me?

 I was learning about what the true meaning of christmas is to me. And I say its family.

I found it easy to write my letter to the Gisborne Herald, and to transfer my work to a colourful slide.

I found it hard to polyline my characters, and find the right images for the slide.

Next time I will use the explore tool for my images. I forgot. 

My Media Graphic

We were learning about what is real and what is fake, and how to tell if something is real or fake.

I found it easy to think of a famous person to do my quote on, so I chose the legend himself, Stan Lee.

I found it hard to find a good quote to use because there are so many, so I went with "Sooner Or Later, If A Man Is Ever To Be Worthy Of His Destiny, We Must Fill Our Hearts With Tolerance"

Next time I will try a bit more to blend the picture of my hero into the background a bit, so it looks a bit more real.

Guy Fawkes Acrostic Poem 🎆

We were learning about the story of Guy Fawkes, and the origin of why we celebrate it.

I found it easy to think of a word to make into a poem, like BONFIRE or FIREWORK..

I found it hard to think of words for my acrostic poem, because I find it challenging to find a word or a sentence that starts with a specific letter.

Next time I will try to add more words that rhyme, because I think that it would sound really cool.

Nga Ahua: The Maori Shapes. ❒⚫△

We were learning about the names of the maori shapes, and he different types of shapes. 

I found it easy to copy the names off of our site to put on my slide.

I found it hard to get the names right. At one point, I mixed up a Parallelogram  with a Pentagon!

Next time I will not take forever to finish my work, because it took me 2 weeks.

Fake Clickbait Postcard From Alaska (No.2)

We were learning about what is real or not real, and what people can do online.

I really enjoyed Making myself into a snowman!

I found it challenging to find the right images of Alaska, and to make it fit with my dog and I.

It was easy for me to polyline my snowman and writing the letter to my Dad.

Next time I will not play around with images and taking forever to get the pictures taken.

Athletics Day Reflection.

 I Loved the athletics day. My favourite part was the long jump, and the ball throw. I think I could of practiced a bit at my house, and put more effort into my practice. I was feeling quite confident on some of the things, but some other things just weren't my thing. I was very happy to see lots of my friends get their rewards, because they all earned it. Next time I should try more harder to do the scissor kick at the high jump, and to aim a bit better on the ball throw. I was never really interested in athletics before, now I've grown into it a bit. I am very excited to do athletics next year. 

Fake Phishing Postcard from Tatooien

What did you learn? About Phishing scams and clickbait.

What did you enjoy? Making my star wars themed fake postcard.

What was challenging? Writing my fake letter to my mum, and thinking up some things to put in it.

What was easy? finding the right image of Tatooine

What will you do next time? I will not take forever to choose what character I should do.

The Maori Colours. Nga Tae

We were learning about the names of the maori colours, and how to pronounce them.

I found it easy to understand the names, and to remember them all to put on my slide.

I found it hard to think back to when I learnt them ages ago, so It was good to this refresh.

Next time I will add more things for the colours like the sign language.

Toby & Kauri: 7 Things That A Recount Needs.

1.  Where did you go, When did you go, Why did you go, Who did you go with and How did you go.

2.  Correct Punctuation. ( Punctuation in the right spot)

3.  Paragraphs. (With quality sentences.)

4.  using past Tense.  (Using words like: I Ran, It Was Fun, I Said).

5. WOW or RICH words. (Onomatopoeia, similes, adjectives.)

6.  Recrafting. (Red Pen to fix your mistakes, or red font if your on a computer.)

7.  1, 2, 3, planning. (Firstly I did, secondly I did, lastly I did)

(I was supposed to do 10 but I could think of 7)

My goal for term four is to try to add more detailed words.

How We Could Get More Native Birds In Our School.

We Were Learning about birds, and their habitats.

I found it easy to do the tasks on our doc, because the tasks were really basic.

I found it hard to understand what we were doing for the Drawing because I thought we were just putting our information on our Drawing.

Next time I will be more quieter so other people can focus on there work.

NZ Native Birds.

We were learning about what a Endemic bird is, a Native Bird, and what an Introduced bird is.

I found it easy to do my polyline (Mine is the Duck) and to find the information for the slides.

I found it challenging to teach my group how to do polyline.

Next time I will give a more detailed way of saying how to polyline.

The Environment Is Our Responsibility

We were learning about how to write a persuasive script to persuade someone to agree that the environment is our responsibility.
I found it easy to get my ideas down onto the doc, and to think of a good opening statement, and a closing statement.
I found it hard to think of different topics for different paragraphs, and to have them all based in New Zealand.
Next time I will try to make the paragraphs longer and to add more detail so the reader will agree with my idea.

Manuka Group 1 Retell of In The Beginning

 We were learning about how to create a E-book on google slides ofthe Rangi and Papa story.

I found it easy to polyline my Tane, and to make Tu's house

I found it challenging to figure out who was going to do what part of the story.

Next time I will try not to stress out about who was going to do what, and to not take ages to do my Tane.

Manuka's How To Do Things On Scratch!

We were learning about how to make a Ebook about scratch.

I found it easy to Make the slide go in portrait, with the video that Mrs.Williams gave us.

I found it hard to think of something to do for my video. I went with how to change background or sprite when touching a colour.

Next time I will put more expression in my voice and also to have everything sorted out. 

How To Teleport In Scratch

We were learning about how to do different things on scratch.

I found it easy to think of something to show you guys.

I found it hard to make the video and not mess it up.

Next time I will make the video more quicker.

The Quality Blog Comment Animation

We were learning about how to write a quality blog comment.

I found it easy to do the poylinening, and thinking of my characters.

I found it challenging to write the comment that Mr.Smiley was writing.

Next time I will finish in the time give. I was supposed to upload this a month ago.

The Wild Lab Writing.

We were learning about recount writing, and Editing and Recrafting. I found it easy to do the editing. To fix all of my spelling mistakes, and my grammar. I found it challenging to do my recrafting. it was hard to bump up my sentences with better words, and take out bits that didn't really need to be in the story. Next time I will try to write less. I have a habit of writing whole a page as a paragraph.

How To Do A Quality Blog Comment

We were learning about How to do a proper blog comment, like not doing stuff like:
Sup bro. this is good because the background is red, and this reminded me of a bird because of the picture. next time you should spell more good. from your friend. I found it easy to think of my ideas because the slide that they gave us had all of the information I needed, so I just put it in my own words. I found it challenging to think up of more things that I learnt so I only did three. Next time I will try to think of more try to think of more things to put on my google drawing.

Toby And Ariana's Avatar (#Fire Fox)

We were learning about working with a buddy through Goggle comments. I found it easy to work with my buddy Ariana because she didn't get all worked up when we had to change things. I found it challenging to think of good things to add to our fire fox, so I added a firefighter fighting the monster. Next time I will work more faster because I was running short on time!

Matariki Report

We were learning about how to write a report on matariki.  I found it easy to get used to the structure of the report and to get my idea's down. I found it challenging to have enough information for my report because I ran a little low.  Next time I will gather more information about matariki so I can put it on my report.

We were learning about how to post a quality comment on a friends blog. I found it easy to get ideas for my friend Jethro's comment on his blog, because He rote his words very clearly. I found it challenging to find a background that suited the topic so I just Next time I will do my work more quick because I was being slow.

My Favourite Post from Tuturi's Blog!

We were learning about using screencastify to explain what our favourite post by a friend was and how to post a good comment.

I found it easy to embed the video into my slide that's below, and to put it on my blog. it was easy because I've done it so much that I'm used to it.

I found it challenging to figure out how to use Tuturi's blog game, because I haven't used one in ages and to get the screencastify icon on my screen because it despaired.

Next time I will put more effort to use more interesting words on the screencastify so the watchers are hooked in and interested in what I'm doing.

I found it easy to do the writing and using voice typing

My name is Toby.  I go to Awapuni School.
My family originated from both Scotland and Ireland.
I live with my Dad in one house, and with my
Mum in the other house. 

I think I am good at doing Cybersmart, reading and writing.
I think that I am good at most things about technology and
chromebooks,
and stuff like that. I find a lot of math challenging.
My goal for this year is to learn how to do division.

This year my achievement is to get up to over $600
so I can buy a Nintendo Switch Lite console.
I am also looking forward to My mystery holiday
that I'm going on with my Mum.
